Rant #6

 

Lately, I’ve been seeing lychees everywhere it’s like they’re stalking me! I had to wonder, are they the rambutan’s cooler cousin, or maybe its mischievous little sibling? 😂 Don’t judge me, I’m just trying to make sense of this tropical fruit family tree! Anyway, I found out it’s lychee season in Vietnam, which explains why they’re taking over the streets. I never really encountered them back in the Philippines guess I was too busy living my best mango, avocado, and banana life lol 😂😂But my first lychee experience here in Vietnam was a total win. I won’t lie, I was a little blown away by how good it was. It’s like rambutan’s cousin, but with a VIP pass to the flavor party.

I was biking around Binh Duong Province the air was so fresh, I could practically breathe in peace. And then, out of nowhere, the lady who used to serve me French fries popped up with a  giant box of lychees. Naturally, I was intrigued, so I decided to try it, buy it, and eat it. I'm not claiming to be a health guru, but let me tell you, this fruit is absolutely worth the indulgence!
